Age: 7 - 15 years old

This class is for students who have focused interest in drawing, painting and want to learn more specific advanced skills in achieving realism in their drawings. Students will learn perspective, geometry and light / shadow principles they can apply to their portraits, landscapes, architecture design or still life compositions. By the end of this course, students will have improved painting, drawing and observation skills through a better understanding of rhythm, gesture and silhouetted shape.

In this course, your child will:

🔺Analyze light and shadow and how they affect our experience of the world

🔺 Learn to apply form and cast shadows with edge distinctions

🔺Explore the basics of perspective, composition, value and lighting.

Your child does is not required to have drawing experience, although it is definitely a bonus since we go into more advanced techniques. We will have a special party / art show on the last day of class to celebrate the student’s amazing work.

Our small class sizes allows for maximum individual attention needed to foster creative thought and problem solving skills.
