BOARD-GAME DESIGN CAMP ( GAME / LEVEL DESIGN)

Dates: Aug 12 - Aug 16

Time: 9:00 am - 2:30 pm

Age: 9 - 12 years old

During this 5 day camp kids will create their own board game from scratch.

We will start from square one with teaching them the building blocks of game and level design through a fun, hands-on approach where students will create their own personalized board game to bring home and play with family and friends.

Students will be able to learn to create concept art, their own game pieces, dice and even plan and design their own rules book and storyline for whatever cool creations they want to come up with.

Sample Camp Format

9:00-9:30 am -Arrival / free time / intro

9:30 -10:30 am - Session 1

9:30 -10:15 am -Snack/Mini Recess

10:15-12:00pm -session 2

12:00-1:00pm – Lunch/Recess

1:00-2:00pm – session 3

2:00-2:30pm – Wrap up for home

*There will be collaborative team art projects, active games, storytelling, lunch outside at the local park or under our shaded area, ice cream parties and much more!
