Age: 7 - 12 years old

Learn the necessary skills and tools needed to create comic stories, characters, drawings, environments, dialogue and of course jokes! During this course the students will be draw their own cartoon characters and apply character design and visual storytelling techniques. Each student will create and design their own comic strips that they get to keep and hopefully develop more at home.

In this course, your child will:

🔺 Learn the tools to tell a compelling story with an interesting plot and character interactions

🔺 Introduction to traditional and digital drawing skills

🔺Develop composition skills using panels and layouts

🔺 Have fun creating and design an interesting character with different personality traits

🔺 Learn different speech bubble techniques which are crucial to a successful and engaging comic story

🔺learn step by step binding techniques for your hardcover book

Your child does not need any previous experience or skill in drawing, design or illustration. They just need to show up with a good, positive attitude and a desire to learn and unlock their creative spirit.
