Age: 7 - 13 years old

Learn drawing fundamentals, such as proportions, perspective and composition. The purpose of this class is to introduce kids to the bases of illustration in order to create a strong foundation that will allow them to succeed in art.

Students will learn how to draw manga step by step and draw their own page of a manga comic!

We will cover the differences between eastern and western character design piece by piece with eyes, expressions, hair, and clothes. Kids will get to experiment with both styles and learn how to develop them into their own. Then we will learn how to construct our drawings into a page of manga graffiti using screen tones, and creating their own Japanese signature / logo with block printing.
