2024 SUMMER CAMP SESSION 2

STOP MOTION ANIMATION CAMP

Dates: June 24th - 28th

Time: 9:00 am - 2:30 pm

Age: 8 - 12 years old

This action-packed camp will teach the students everything that goes into making a stop motion animation movie….which is of course a lot but we will teach them the fundamentals of character, set and story development and how to incorporate sound and music to their stories.

Students will work in small groups to storyboard, build their characters, sets and props, create the action, film and voice-over these exciting movies.

In this camp, your child will learn:

🔺Storytelling / story structure

🔺How to use screen tones & inks

🔺Graffiti art & calligraphy

🔺Block printing

🔺Logo design

Sample Camp Format

9:00-9:30 am -Arrival / free time / intro

9:30 -10:30 am - Session 1

10:30 -10:45 am -Snack/Mini Recess

10:45-12:00pm -session 2

12:00-1:00pm – Lunch/Recess

1:00-2:00pm – session 3

2:00-2:30pm – Wrap up for home

*There will be collaborative team art projects, active games, storytelling, lunch outside at the local park or under our shaded area, ice cream parties and much more!
